A couple of months back Karbonn launched two entry-level smartphones called the A3 and the A4. The folks at FoneArena have now spotted a new device called the Karbonn Smart A4+, which looks like the successor to the A4, available on e-commerce sites for Rs 5,299. In terms of specifications, the dual-SIM A4+ sports a 4-inch TFT (400×800 pixels) display and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM. Other features included on the smartphone are a 3.2-megapixel rear camera, misses out on a front-facing camera, expandable memory up to 32GB using a microSD card and a 1,250mAH battery.
On the software front, the device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but lacks support for 3G.
