Karbonn has launched a new smartphone under its Titanium-series. Called Titanium Frames S7, the smartphone is priced at Rs 6,999, and will be available via Shopclues starting today along with special introductory offers. The smartphone will be available in three color variants black, champagne, and red.
Those who are planning on buying the smartphones can also take advantage of a host of introductory offers. To begin with, Airtel users will get a cashback of Rs 2,000. For this, one will have to pay Rs 6,999 for the smartphone, and make 36 monthly recharges of Rs 199. After 18 months, one will get a cash refund of Rs 500, and after 36 months Rs 1,500. If the payment is made via Mobikwik, buyers will be able to avail a flat discount of Rs 2,100. Additionally, those buying the smartphone via IndusInd Bank and Standard Chartered Bank can avail a discount of 10 percent while making the purchase through their debit or credit cards.

In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The Titanium Frames S7 is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Also on offer is 32GB of internal storage, with a further option to expand it up to 64GB using a microSD card.
For photography, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash. There is also a 13-megapixel front camera with a selfie flash. The smartphone is backed by a 3,000mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough to give you a standby time of up to 120 hours. On the connectivity front, the smartphone comes with 4G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM, and microUSB. On the software side of things, the handset runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
In terms of competition, the smartphone will be up against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 5A and Nokia 2. The Redmi 5A features a 5-inch HD resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera. Armed with a 3,000mAh battery, the Redmi 5A runs Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
The Nokia 2, on the other hand, sports a 5-inch HD display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 SoC, paired with 1GB of RAM. On the camera front, the Nokia 2 is equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera, as well as a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. On the software front, the smartphone runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box, and also comes with Google Assistant onboard.
