Kult is the latest entrant in the growing list of smartphone makers offering devices with thin bezel design. The company has silently launched Impulse, a new smartphone with thinner bezels surrounding the display. The Kult Impulse also comes with modern features like face unlock, which is currently restricted to select smartphones only. Kult Impulse Specifications and Price
The Kult Impulse is a dual-SIM smartphone with a 5.99-inch display supporting HD+ resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by quad-core MediaTek MTK6739 processor clocked at 1.5GHz and aided by Mali-T720 MP1 GPU. The smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via dedicated microSD card slot.
Kult Impulse features a 13-megapixel main camera with autofocus, dual-LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. At the front, it gets another 13-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. The front camera can also be used for facial unlock mechanism, which makes Impulse one of the cheapest smartphone to support the feature.

In terms of connectivity, the Impulse supports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and 4G VoLTE. It includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, microUSB port for charging and 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone runs Android Nougat is backed by a 4,000mAh battery and will compete against offerings from Xiaomi and Honor in the offline retail segment. The smartphone is priced at Rs 8,999 and is available for purchase from select retail outlets starting today.
