After recently launching its Gladiator smartphone in the country, Indian smartphone-maker Kult may now be set to launch another device. According to a tip received by BGR Hindi, Kult will be launching a new smartphone on India on Monday, December 4. Our source also revealed that the speculated smartphone will be priced between Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,000.
Further, we have also learned of the specification that this purported smartphone would carry. As per our source, the new Kult smartphone will feature a 5-inch HD IPS display, with a resolution of 1280×720 pixel, and a 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood, the smartphone has been suggested to be powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek 6737 chipset clocked at 1.25GHz, which will be paired with a Mali T720 GPU. The smartphone is believed to come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage, with an additional memory expansion option of 32GB using a microSD card.
For photography, the smartphone will apparently sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, accompanied by an LED flash. Up front will be a 5-megapixel camera. Fueling the device is said to be a 2,600mAh battery. For connectivity, the smartphone will reportedly include features like GPS, USB OTG support, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, and a fingerprint sensor. The purported Kult smartphone is believed to run Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
