Just like we exclusively reported over the weekend, Lava has announced India’s first Android smartphone running on Intel’s Atom Z2460 (Medfield) processor. Called the XOLO X900, it is also based on Intel’s reference design like the one announced by Orange earlier today. To be launched in early Q2, it features a 1.6GHz processor with 400 MHz dedicated GPU, 8.0 MP camera with 1080p video and burst shot of 10 photos a second, a 4.03-inch high resolution display, HDMI, NFC and HSPA+ connectivity. We reckon the XOLO X900 will be priced close to Rs 25,000 when it is launched. Also Read - Lava Xolo X1000 launched in India for Rs 19,999, Brings Intel’s 2GHz Medfield chip to the table
