Last week a pre-build version of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for Nexus 4 leaked online and was made available for the smartphone owners to download. The folks at PocketNow have got their hands on the build and reveal what new features we could expect on the forthcoming OS. To start with, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean now supports auto-complete on the dialer by default so you will not have to keep going into the contact list to find a person s number. Google will be adding a new Emoji keyboard, which will offer a host of new emoticons, and there will be improvements to the native camera app too. The OS will support Bluetooth 4.0 LE, which should come as a relief for many users who have been waiting for this feature ever since it was released. In addition to performing better, Bluetooth 4.0 LE also consumes less energy.

Overall, the folks at PocketNow observed that performance was much smoother and snappier and the biggest improvement was on the battery front. According to the tester, the battery lasted for about 25 hours before dying, which if true would be very impressive.

We should remind you all the aforementioned features are a part of a leaked pre-build ROM and doesn t necessarily mean that they would arrive on the final version of the OS. To find out what features do make it, we only have to wait a day for the event in San Francisco where Sundar Pichai is reportedly going to unveil Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
