With the use of Android 7.1.2 Nougat, the purported smartphone is unlikely to be released anytime soon as this version of Google s mobile operating system is still in beta for supported devices.
The benchmark leaks indicate that the said LeMobile XiubaleR is not the previously leaked Le X850, which is believed to be equipped with Qualcomm s Snapdragon 821 chipset. To recall, the Le X850 was first leaked in November last year when it was spotted on the website of China s regulatory agency TENAA.
Based on the listing, the LeEco Le X850 will be one of the premium smartphones boasting a dual-camera module with a pair of 13-megapixel rear cameras. It is further likely to be also taking care of the selfie obsession with a 16-megapixel front camera.
In terms of other specifications, the smartphone is expected to boast a 5.7-inch display with 2K resolution. Powered by Snapdragon 821 processor, the smartphone will pack 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will be further fuelled by a 3,900mAh battery with fast charging technology. The smartphone will be a USB Type-C based smartphone and skip the standard 3.5mm headphone jack. The leaks further indicate that the Le X850 will be available in two color choices of Coffee Grey and Gold Charm.
LeEco is yet to officially confirm the existence of the Le X850 or the newly revealed LeMobile XiubaleR . ALSO READ: LeEco Super4-X43 Pro Smart 4K HDR TV Review
The China-based company, originally associated with building content, entered the smartphone business last year. In the short span, LeEco produced affordable smartphones mimicking the design language of Apple iPhone. However, after initial success, the company s founder recently confirmed it was cash strapped with possibilities of shutting down the mobile business. Earlier this month, the company denied its India exit rumors and reiterated that it was focused on mobile and TV business in the country.
