As we inch closer to Mobile World Congress 2017, the stream of anticipated smartphones launches is mounting. While there have been reports about Lenovo announcing a new tablet, latest leaks suggest that we might also see a new smartphone. The purported smartphone is rumored to be from Lenovo s A-series and according to a set of leaked images, it shows off a three-layer design and a rather geometric form factor.Images of the unnamed Lenovo A smartphone were spotted first on a Chinese social network and revealed on PriceRaja. These images reveal a three-layer design similar to what was seen on the Vibe X2. The distinctive design adds three colors on the bezel. The smartphone, as seen in the leaked images, appears to have a metallic finish on a polycarbonate body instead of a true metal body. It features physical buttons (power and volume rockers) on the right. On the back, rest the camera and flash along with a speaker grille at the bottom. By far, only the image of the purported Lenovo smartphone has surfaced online and details about its specs are scarce. However, if we are to see this smartphone show up at the upcoming mobile conference, it might be an affordable smartphone akin to other devices in the A-series. Meanwhile, Lenovo is also expected to announce the next iteration of the Moto G4 smartphone. Dubbed, Moto G5, the smartphone is speculated to feature a 5-inch full HD (1080p) display and come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage that can be expanded using a microSD card. It is further expected to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The phone could come fuelled with a 2,800mAh battery. On the software front, it is expected to run on Android Nougat out-of-the-box.
Additionally, the rumored tablet — Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus — has also been spotted online on a benchmarking website. The listing reveals that the Tab3 8 Plus will be powered by Qualcomm s Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. In terms of specifications, the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus is expected to flaunt an 8-inch full HD (1920 1080 pixels) display, and will come with 32GB or 64GB internal storage options. In the photography department, the tablet is expected to come with an 8-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. On the software front, it will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. Keeping the tablet ticking will be a 4,250mAh battery.
