Yesterday we reported that Lenovo is planning on launching the cheapest 4G LTE-capable smartphone in India. Today, the company has launched the Lenovo A2010, which is a LTE-capable smartphone priced at Rs 4,990. The smartphone will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart on September 3, and registrations for the first sale have kicked off today. Lenovo A2010 specifications: The smartphone sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) display, and is powered by a 1GHz MediaTek MT6735 quad-core 64-bit processor paired with Mali T720 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Also on offer is 8GB internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
On the photography front, the smartphone features 5-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone also includes a 2,000mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for 8.5 hours of talktime on 4G and up to 12 days on standby mode. Connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
