It houses a 3,450mAh battery which can last for up to 8 hours on usage, and provides a standby time of up to two weeks.
At this price point, the Lenovo A7-50 will be up against the likes of the Nexus 7 (2013 edition), which comes with a 7-inch full HD IPS (1,920 1,200 pixels) display, which is better than the display on the Lenovo A7-50. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.5GHz and paired with Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Other features in the tablet include a 5-megapixel rear camera and 1.2-megapixel secondary camera, and a 3,950mAh non-removable battery. The Nexus 7 now runs on Android 4.4.3 KitKat, which was updated a couple of days back. However, the 3G version of the Nexus 7 is priced at Rs 22,999 and you cannot make voice calls from it.
The Lenovo A7-50 will also compete against the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 211 which comes with a 7-inch display with 1,024×600 pixels resolution and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Other features in the tablet include a 3-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 4,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include of 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/AGPS.
