Lenovo yesterday unveiled the A7000 at MWC in Barcelona. While the company didn t reveal a launch date, BGR India has learnt that the smartphone is currently being tested on Indian networks and the country will be one of the first in line to get the smartphone. Lenovo touts the A7000 as a smartphone built for entertainment on a budget. Its USP is support for Dolby Atmos sound technology, which should ensure a richer sound experience.
As for specifications, the A7000 sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280 720 pixels) IPS display, and is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6752m octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Also included is 8GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
On the photography front, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel snapper at the back with LED flash, supplemented with a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone also features a 2,900mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, LTE support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android Lollipop out-of-the-box.
