Furthermore, the company has also announced a special ‘live flash sale’ at Flipkart’s Bangalore office tomorrow. Lenovo has invited the media to see, and once and for all put an end to all speculations, and see exactly how fast the devices get over in a flash sale. All of Lenovo’s A6000 units got over in a matter of seconds in all of its flash sales.
Besides its LTE capabilities, one of the talking points of the A7000 is its support for Dolby Atmos sound technology. This should ensure a richer sound experience, and Lenovo describes the A7000 as a smartphone built for entertainment on a budget.
As far as specifications are concerned, the A7000 flaunts a 5.5-inch HD (1280 720 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 267ppi. Under the hood is a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6752m octa-core processor paired with Mali-T760MP2 GPU and 2GB of RAM. On the storage front, it offers 8GB internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
In the photography department, there is an 8-megapixel autofocus snapper at the back with LED flash, supplemented with a 5-megapixel selfie camera up front. The smartphone also includes a 2,900mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for up to 16 hours of talktime and up to 264 hours on standby mode.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and on the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped under Vibe UI.
