Lenovo is launching the A7000 in India next week on April 7, but in the meantime, the company already seems to have another smartphone in the pipeline. According to the leaked photo, the smartphone has a distinct resemblance to the Samsung Galaxy S2. It seems to be made up completely of plastic except for the metal bit cordoning off the device. According to the publication, the Lenovo A7600-M will be featuring a 5.5-inch 720p display and will be powered by MediaTek MT6752 octa-core chipset paired with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone also features 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 13-megapixel primary camera, 5-megapixel secondary sensor and a 3,000mAh battery. On the software front, it is said to be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop wrapped under VIBE UI 2.5.
There is no word on when the company plans on launching the smartphone. As mentioned above, the company is gearing to launch the A7000 in India on April 7. Lenovo launched the smartphone at MWC last month.
As for specifications, the A7000 sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280 720 pixels) IPS display, and is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6752m octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM.
The handset also features 8GB internal storage, microSD card support, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a 2,900mAh battery. Connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, LTE support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, and on the software front, it runs on Android Lollipop out-of-the-box.
