Lenovo and Motorola extended warranty on all its products till May 31 because of COVID-19

Lenovo Motorola products warranty expiring between March 15 through April 30, 2020 will be given extension till May 31.

Now after Samsung, Lenovo and Motorola have also extended warranty of their smartphones and accessories until May 31. The company will offer this extended free global warranty for up to 75 days extra through May 31, 2020 for all Lenovo/ Motorola products. In a press note on Friday, Lenovo (which also owns Motorola) have noted that the warranty of its family of products coming to an end between March 15 through April 30, 2020 will be given extension till May 31. “To better support our customers, Lenovo and Motorola are offering a free global warranty extension for up to 75 days through May 31, 2020 for all Lenovo/Motorola smartphones and accessories with warranties that are coming to an end between March 15 through April 30, 2020,” noted Lenovo in a press statement on Friday.”Through the breadth of consumer technology and services, Lenovo and Motorola are here to support customers in continuing to stay connected, productive and entertained at home.” Also Read - Lenovo Legion gaming smartphone appears in renders; hints at dual USB Type-C ports

A couple of days back, Samsung had also extended warranty of all its products until May 31. The South Korean company announced extended warranty for products whose warranty is expiring between March 20 and April 30. This is not just for smartphones, but all other category of products from Samsung such as laptops, AC, TVs, refrigerators and more.

Amidst this Corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic situation, most of the companies have suspended service operations, and as a result, the warranty time is being extended.
