Lenovo launched the HX06 smartband in India today. The smartband competes directly with Mi Band 2 and is available exclusively on Flipkart for Rs 1,299. Its key features are the 0.87-inch OLED monochrome display and IP67 water and dust resistance.
While Lenovo already has HX03 Cardio and HX03F Spectra smartbands, the HX06 is targeted towards customers who want basic functionality at an affordable price point. The smartband can keep a track of footsteps walked, distance covered, calories burnt and sleep cycles. All the information can also be seen on the Lenovo Healthy app, which can be downlaoded on your smartphone. Unfortunately, there is no heartrate monitor.
Additionally, the device can also be used to set alarms, reminders, get call alerts and read message notifications on its 0.87-inch screen. There is also a find my phone feature available, which can set of the ringer on your smartphone, so you can find it. Underneath the hood, the HX06 smartband features a 60mAh battery, which Lenovo claims can run for 8 days on a single charge. The band also consists of a built-in USB port that simple needs to be connected to a computer to charge. This is great as you do not need any additional cables.

Further the band comes with, Bluetooth 4.2 support and is compatible with devices running Android 4.4 and iOS 8.0 or later. The Lenovo HX06 comes with the Black strap, which Lenovo claims is skin-friendly and comfortable to wear. It’s also interchangeable, so you can customize it with a color that suits your style better.
