Once the update is available, users will be prompted about the same. To manually check the update, you can head over to Settings > About phone > System updates > Check For Update.
The update brings all the goodness of Android 6.0 Marshmallow such as including Google Now on Tap, app permissions to let you control the information you share with apps, and the Doze mode that hibernates the background apps when the smartphone is left untouched for some time.
Besides the K3 Note, Lenovo has also announced the Marshmallow update for the Vibe S1, the Vibe P1, A7000 and the A7000 Plus. Also, the recently launched Lenovo K4 Note, Vibe X3 and Vibe K5 Plus are due to get the Android Marshmallow update sometime in the coming months.
