Towards the end of last month, Lenovo launched the K3 Note in India. The 4G-capable phablet is priced at Rs 9,999, and is set to go on sale tomorrow via Flipkart. Lenovo has now revealed that it has received over half a million registrations for tomorrow’s sale.
While it has revealed the number of people registered for tomorrow’s sale, it hasn’t revealed how many units will be available for buyers. The sale kicks off tomorrow at 3:00PM, and registrations that kicked off on the day of launch will close tonight.
The K3 Note joins Lenovo’s lineup of affordable 4G-capable smartphones in India that includes the likes of A6000 Plus, A7000, priced in the sub-Rs 10,000 segment, and the S60 priced at Rs 12,999. Flaunting a 5.5-inch full HD display, the K3 Note is currently the most affordable smartphone in India with a 1080p display.
As far as the rest of the specifications are concerned, the phablet is powered by a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6752 octa-core 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It also features 16GB internal memory, microSD card, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, Dolby Atmos sound technology, and a 3,000mAh battery.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G support on both SIMs, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. On the software front, the phablet runs on Android Lollipop out-of-the-box.
