After a slumber of almost an year, Lenovo is back in the Indian smartphone market with two new devices – Lenovo K9 and Lenovo A5. The next ‘killer’ smartphone from the company, Lenovo K9 is priced at Rs 8,999, and comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
On the other hand, Lenovo A5 is an entry-level smartphone, set to take on the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 6A. Lenovo A5 is available in two configurations – 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/32GB storage – priced at Rs 5,999 and Rs 6,999, respectively.
Both Lenovo K9 and Lenovo A5 will be available exclusively on Flipkart.

For Lenovo, everyone from Xiaomi and Honor to Vivo and Oppo is competition.
Now that Lenovo is back, the company is going to focus on being an online-only brand, while subsidiary Motorola will take care of offline (as well as online) presence.

There’s a tri-slot tray – 2 SIM cards and one dedicated microSD card slot.
The A5 features a 5.45-inch ‘FullScreen’ display, and is backed by a 4,000mAh battery.

The smartphone features dual-VoLTE support and is available in two colors.
The smartphone features a modern USB Type-C port, which charges the included 3,000mAh battery with a 10W power output.
‘AI Face Unlock’ can unlock the smartphone in just 0.3 seconds. There’s also a fingerprint sensor, just in case.
There’s also 2.5D curved glass on both front and rear.
Talking about the display, Lenovo K9 has a 5.7-inch HD+ display with a 720×1440 pixels resolution
‘Multi-frame’ fusion technology for selfies. It takes six selfies for every one picture taken, ensuring best results.
Then there’s AI Backlight, which can enhance low-light selfies automatically.
Features ‘AI Beautify’, specifically developed for India. It includes capabilities like face reshapening and whitening, as well as concealer.
The smartphone has ‘AI Bokeh’ and ‘Natural Selfie Bokeh ‘ features. It comes with a dual-camera system at the front, comprised of a 13-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor
