After announcing the K6 Power and PHAB 2, Lenovo is now bringing its K6 Note to India. The Lenovo K6 Note was first announced at IFA 2016 alongside K6 and K6 Power. Lenovo India confirmed that it will be launching its Lenovo K6 Note on December 14. Part of the K-series, the K6 Note boasts a full HD display and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Although the company tweet did not drop any hints about the price of the #KillerEntertainer, it mentions that the smartphone will be Coming soon, to a store near you, which means that the handset will be made available offline. Prior to its official launch on December 14, price of the Lenovo K6 Note has been revealed by Indian e-commerce website OnlyMobiles. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 14,999 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant. The 4GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant is listed at Rs 15,999. The Lenovo K6 Note is part of the company s K-series of smartphones and is expected to be priced between Rs 12,000 and Rs 15,000 in India. One of the key highlights of the smartphone is that it features a metal unibody design, a full HD display, fingerprint scanner, and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box. Akin to the K6 and K6 Power, the K6 Note also comes in dark grey, gold and silver color options.

The Lenovo K6 Note features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display and under the hood is Qualcomm s 64-bit Snapdragon 430 octa-core SoC (four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.2GHz + four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz) paired with Adreno 505 GPU.
The smartphone comes in two storage variants one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and another with 4GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. The smartphone further comes with a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. It is unclear if Lenovo will introduce both the variants in India. However, given the pricing expectations, we could estimate the 3GB RAM version to be priced around Rs 12,000 while the higher RAM version will be priced a bit more.
For smartphone photography lovers, the Lenovo K6 Note comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash. For selfies, the smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel front camera. The smartphone draws its juice from a 4,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. The K6 Note also features Dolby ATMOS audio enhancement, fingerprint scanner and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS wrapped under Vibe UI.
At the estimated price, the Lenovo K6 Note will compete against the Xiaomi Mi Max, Honor 5C, and InFocus Epic 1. The Xiaomi Mi Max, priced at Rs 14,999, is an ultra-thin phablet in a metal body design and boasts a 6.44-inch full HD display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. The phablet draws its juice from a mammoth 4,850mAh battery. It further includes a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and 5-megapixel front snapper. The Honor 5C, priced at Rs 10,999, offers a 5.2-inch full HD IPS LCD display and is powered by Huawei s Kirin 650 octa-core chipset paired with Mali T830 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It further comes with 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. For photography, the smartphone offers 13-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel front snapper. Keeping the Honor 5C ticking is a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots (hybrid setup), 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS, GLONASS. On the software front, it runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 wrapped under EMUI 4.1.
The InFocus Epic 1 boasts a deca-core processor and is priced at Rs 12,999. It features a 5.5-inch full HD display, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB). For smartphone photography lovers, it comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel front camera. It draws its juice from a 3,000mAh battery which is supported by quick charge.
