Launched earlier this August, the Lenovo K8 Note has received has a price cut in India. The K8 Note was earlier available at Rs 12,999 for the 3GB RAM plus 32GB storage variant, which is now priced at Rs 11,999. The 4GB RAM plus 64GB storage variant price, on the other hand, is down from Rs 13,999 to Rs 12,999. The smartphone with its new price tags is available exclusively on Amazon India.
The Lenovo K8 Note comes bundled with a few offers on Amazon India. On purchasing, you get up to 80 percent off on Kindle e-books. Idea Cellular users can avail a special plan of Rs 343, which offers 64GB 4G data and unlimited calls for 56 days. The highlight of the smartphone is it’s dual-camera setup at the rear, which is a combination of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The dual cameras are capable of achieving depth of field effect, and are accompanied by a dual-LED CCT flash.
Continuing with its specifications, the Lenovo K8 Note features a 5.5-inch display with full HD resolution and a 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection on top. Under the hood is a 64-bit MediaTek Helio X23 deca-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. The internal storage on the smartphone can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. For selfies, the Lenovo K8 Note houses a 13-megapixel camera of aperture of f/2.2.
On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Its connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. The smartphone also sports a rear fingerprint scanner. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 4,000mAh battery.
As seen in Lenovo smartphones, the K8 Note also comes with Dolby ATMOS audio support, a dedicated Music Key on the left-hand side, and TheaterMax technology for theater-like experience during gaming, watching videos. The smartphone also comes with a water repellent nano-coating for resistance to accidental splashes.
