Last week, Lenovo sent out media invites for an event in India on August 9, where it will be unveiling its next smartphone, the K8 Note. Lenovo’s K8 Note will be the successor to the 2016’s K6 Note. The company has been teasing the launch of the device on its social media channels. The latest teaser on Twitter reveals that the upcoming K8 Note will be exclusive to Amazon India. It is worth noting that the K6 Note was an offline-only smartphone, and was launched for Rs 13,999. Besides a couple of teasers, not a lot is known about the K8 Note. One such teaser hints at a dual-camera setup on the upcoming smartphone. Lenovo put up camera samples, which makes it clear that the focus is on the device’s photographic chops. Below are few shots taken from Lenovo K8 Note.
Just recently, the K8 Note smartphone was spotted on GeekBench, revealing some of its key specifications. To begin with, it is expected to come with a 1.39GHz deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone is expected to run on Android Nougat 7.1.1 OS out-of-the-box.
