A mysterious new Lenovo phone with model number L78071 has appeared on TENAA. The listing reveals a few key specs and the images of the device, but its exact identity is not known. Lenovo has recently launched new phones such as Z5 Pro and S5 Pro. Now that the L78071 phone has surfaced on TENAA, it appears that the company may announce another phone before the end of this year.
Lenovo has released around 10 smartphones this year, but none of them feature triple rear cameras. The newly spotted Lenovo L78071 features a vertically arranged triple camera unit on the back panel. The rear shell of the device also features a fingerprint scanner. The rear design of the smartphone is not very different from the Lenovo S5 Pro, and Lenovo K5 Pro phones that were announced in October. It’s just that that the upcoming L78071 features an additional third camera.
The Lenovo L78071 TENAA listing further reveals that it is equipped with a 6.3-inch screen with a waterdrop notch. It receives power from 3,210mAh battery. The handset measures 156.7×74.5×7.8mm.
Qualcomm is expected to announce the 7nm Snapdragon 8150 chipset at the Snapdragon Tech Summit on December 4 at Hawaii. A Chinese leakster has claimed that Lenovo has been working with Qualcomm, and it may announce the world’s first Snapdragon 8150 powered smartphone. Will L78071 end up as the first SD8150 driven phone?
The Lenovo Z5 Pro slider design phone that was announced in the previous month came with huge screen space, Snapdragon 710 chipset, and under-display fingerprint scanner. It is the most advanced device from the company so far this year.

The Lenovo L78071, on the other hand, is seen fitted with a regular fingerprint scanner at the back, and does not have a high-end phone appearance. This suggests that it may be a more affordable device when compared to the Z5 Pro. The TENAA listing of the smartphone is expected to get populated with full specs in the next few days through which is when its identity could be revealed.
