Lenovo launches Y730 Gaming notebook along with C730 Cube and T730 Tower desktops

The new lineup of Legion sub-brand from Lenovo was showcased at IFA 2018.

Lenovo at an event today in New Delhi has launched its newest lineup of gaming notebooks and desktops of its sub-brand Legion. The event saw Lenovo launch its new Legion Y730 gaming notebook along with the Legion Cube and Legion Tower desktops.

Lenovo Also relaunched its Legion Y530 gaming notebook that is already available to buy. All the products that Lenovo launched at the event today have been showcased by the company at IFA 2018 that took place in August. Besides these the company also launched its Y25f-10 gaming monitor. The notebooks as well as the desktops come in a variety of configurations.

The pricing of the Lenovo Legion Y530 notebook lineup starts from Rs 85,585 while the pricing of the Legion T530 Tower starts at Rs 86,299. The Lenovo Legion Y730 notebook is priced at Rs 96,025, while the Legion C730 Cube is priced at Rs 1,34,599, Legion T730 Tower at Rs 1,34,599 and the Legion Y25f-10 Gaming Monitor at Rs 17,100. All these prices are without GST which will be added at the time of buying the devices.

Specs and features

The Lenovo Legion Y530 is a gaming laptop with 15.6-inch FHD display with options for 144Hz refresh rate and 300 nits brightness and a comes with options for Intel 8th gen Core i5 or i7 processor. It has options for GPUs as well which includes GTX 1050, 1050Ti or a 1060 and options for upto 32GB RAM. For storage it has options of up to 512GB PCIe SSD along with up to 2 TB HDD Intel Optane-Ready. It comes with a full-sized white backlit keyboard and weighs 2.3 kgs and is only 2.4cm thick.

The Legion Y730 shares most of the traits of its smaller brother but has a bigger form factor and a larger 17-inch display, along with a Corsair iCUE RGB Backlit Keyboard.

The Lenovo Legion T530 Tower on the other hand comes with options for 8th gen Intel processors, GTX 1050, 1050Ti and 1060 GPUs and up to 32GB DDR4 RAM. For storage it offers up to 256GB PCIe SSD and 2TB HDD.

The Lenovo Legion C730 Cube offers Intel 8th gen i5 and i7 processors as well as an unlocked version. I offers up to 32 GB DDR4 or up to 32 GB overclocked Corsair memory and either NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 570 options for GPU. For storage it has up to 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD and 2 x 2 TBHDD for storage. It comes with RGB lighting for the cabinet and has a dual airflow cooling system.

The Legion T730 Tower shares most of the specs of the Legion C730 Cube, but it comes with an extra option for a 16GB Intel Optane memory, and has options for liquid cooling. The Legion Y25f-10 Gaming Monitor comes with AMD FreeSync Technology along with HDR and 144Hz refresh rate 24.5-inch FHD display.
