Lenovo is set to launch its next smartphone, the S5 Pro, which will be a huge upgrade over S5 launched in March. The leaks and rumors originating on China’s Weibo, have already revealed that the smartphone will feature a quad rear camera module stacked in the form of a square. Now, Chang Cheng, Vice President of Lenovo, took to Weibo to announce that S5 Pro will be made official on October 15, which is today.

Chang suggests that camera will be the key talking point of the Lenovo S5 Pro and even compared it to the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. In his Weibo post, Chang talks about the optical zoom feature on the S5 Pro and how it compares to the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. In order to explain the 2x optical zoom feature, he took the perspective of a classroom and students who are seated in the backbenches.
