After launching the TAB 2 A7-10 earlier this year, Lenovo has today launched a more expensive variant of the tablet called the TAB 2 A7-30. The tablet is priced at Rs 11,800 and it will go on sale tomorrow via Reliance Digital and Amazon India. As far as specifications are concerned, the TAB 2 A7-30 flaunts a 7-inch (1024×600 pixels) IPS display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT8382M quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. Furthermore, the tablet also features a 2-megapixel fixed focus rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, Dolby sound technology, and a 3,450mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity options include 3G support via a SIM card, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0. On the software front, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, with the company also promising a Lollipop update.
Lenovo has also revealed that it soon plans on launching a less expensive variant of the tablet that supports 2G network and features 8GB internal storage.
