At MWC 2016, Lenovo unveiled a new tablet series called the Tab3. Under this series, the company launched the Tab3 7, Tab3 8 and the Tab3 10 Business. Now, the company seems to be gearing up to launch another tablet in this series. The Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus is listed with the model number TB-8703F on GeekBench website. The listing (spotted by GSMarena) reveals that the Tab3 8 Plus will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. Apart from this, the Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus is said to flaunt an 8-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, and it will come with 32GB or 64GB internal storage options. In the photography department, the tablet will come with an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. On the software front, it will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
To put the leaks into perspective, last year’s Tab3 8 tablet came with an 8-inch (1200×800 pixels) display, 1GHz MediaTek quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB internal storage. It also featured a 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front facing camera, 4,290mAh battery, and IP52 certification making it water resistant. The tablet was priced at $99 (Rs 6,800 approximately) for the Wi-Fi variant, and $149 (Rs 10,200 approximately) for the LTE variant.
