Lenovo did put up a great show at the MWC with the camera-centric Vibe Shot. There was however no word on any flagship smartphone. Per GSMArena, the company has been teasing an event on March 23, and could be unveiling the Vibe Z3 Pro there. The event was teased by Lenovo on the Chinese social media. The Vibe Z3 pro will be completely different from the Vibe Shot and will come with a different set of hardware. We can safely assume that the Vibe Z2 successor will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 810 chipset that does its duty in the Motorola Moto Turbo. The RAM might also get bumped up to 4GB thus propelling the phone to the premium flagship territory. Lenovo Vibe Pro Z3 is expected to come with a smaller 5.5-inch display instead of the larger 6-inch one found in its predecessors. The end effect of the QHD display will be seen in the form of staggering 534ppi pixel density. Since this phone will be from Vibe series, Lenovo will do its best to treat it with metal finishes and chrome accent to achieve a more sleeker and elegant look. The battery capacity will also be reduced to 3,400mAh as compared to the 4,000mAh pack in the Vibe Z2 Pro. Also Read - Microsoft rolling out new Office UI for all Windows users: How to enable it
The specifications and other feature list are an integral part of rumor and as always we would suggest you to take with a pinch of salt. The only solid piece of information at our disposal is the fact that Lenovo will be hosting an event on March 23.
