Lenovo has been aggressively promoting its upcoming Killer Note 5 smartphone. And now, just a day ahead of the August 1 launch of the Vibe K5 Note, Lenovo has teased the audience with a video. This teaser reveals a Secure Zone mode that the Vibe K5 Note will feature. The video posted by Lenovo Mobile India on its official Facebook Page, discloses that the Vibe K5 Note will feature dual profile and login in the smartphone. In simpler words, a user can have a work profile and a personal profile in the same smartphone, and can switch between the two as per convenience and requirement. However, this isn t a new feature for Lenovo smartphones. Before Vibe K5 Note, other smartphones like Vibe K4 Note, Vibe P1, Vibe Z2 Pro have also had the same feature.
Other than the Secure Zone feature, there have been quite a handful of details that have been teased and revealed about the Vibe K5 Note. Earlier this week, Lenovo had posted another video that showed that the new smartphone will be equipped with 4GB of RAM.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Note specifications
By now, almost every specification of the Killer Note 5 has been revealed. It is known that the smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) IPS display. Under the hood, it will be powered by MediaTek s 64-bit Helio P10 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, and paired with Mali-T860 GPU. On the storage front, the smartphone comes with 16GB internal storage and a microSD card slot for further expansion.
On the camera front, the Vibe K5 Note sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The smartphone will be fuelled by a 3,500mAh battery and support for fast charging. On the connectivity front, it will include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth and VoLTE. It will run Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under Vibe UI. It remains to be seen if the Indian variant will run on the same OS or come with Android Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
