Lenovo Vibe K5 Note price and availability
Lenovo had launched the K5 Note in China for 1,099 Yuan, which is approximately Rs 11,300. As the successor to last year’s Vibe K4 Note, we expect the upcoming smartphone to be priced around this range. Lenovo has also revealed that the Vibe K5 Note will be exclusively available via Flipkart from August 4. At this price point, the smartphone will face competition from the likes of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and the LeEco Le 2 to name a few.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Note specifications
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Note will feature a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) IPS display, and will be powered by a 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 64-bit octa-core processor paired with Mali-T860 GPU. Also on offer should be 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card.
On the photography front, the Vibe K5 Note comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, supplemented with an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone will also be featuring a 3,500mAh battery with fast charging support, a fingerprint scanner and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Note features
The Vibe K5 Note was launched with Android Lollipop 5.1 wrapped under Vibe UI. Like the Vibe K4 Note, the device launching today is also expected to support TheaterMax technology that can convert any multimedia content into a virtual reality experience. It could also be bundled with an ANTVR headset.
Another feature worth mentioning is the Secure Zone mode that Lenovo teased over the weekend. This feature will allow multiple users to login, or a user could have a work profile and a personal profile on the same smartphone. This feature has been available on some other Lenovo smartphones like the Vibe K4 Note, Vibe P1, and Vibe Z2 Pro, and sounds a lot like the Second Space feature on Xiaomi s MIUI 8.
We will be on ground covering the Lenovo event and we will bring you all the announcements as and when they take place.
