After unveiling it at MWC in Barcelona last month, the Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is all set to be launched in India today. Lenovo‘s event in New Delhi kicks off in a couple of hours, and the company is live streaming the event for those who aren’t attending it. The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is the international variant of the Lemon 3 smartphone, which was launched in China earlier this year. It is currently available in certain countries for around $150, which is approximately Rs 10,300. It will be interesting to see how aggressive Lenovo gets with the pricing in India.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus specifications, features: It features a 5-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm s Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The Vibe K5 Plus also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 2,750mAh removable battery, and on the software front, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under Vibe UI. Lenovo has also preloaded apps like SHAREit, SNAPit, and Guvera Music among others.
At MWC, Lenovo also unveiled an affordable variant called the Vibe K5. It is available for around $130, which is approximately Rs 8,900. It features a 5-inch 720p display, and Qualcomm s Snapdragon 415 octa-core processor. The rest of the specifications remain the same. We will have to wait and see if the company launches this variant today.
