While all eyes are on LG and Samsung’s new flagship smartphones, Lenovo has quietly launched two new smartphones at MWC. One of them is the Vibe K5 Plus, which is essentially the international variant of the Lemon 3 launched in China last month. The other is a slightly cheaper variant, simply known as Vibe K5. Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus price: The Vibe K5 Plus will go on sale in select countries for around $150, which roughly translates to Rs 10,300. The metal-clad Vibe K5 Plus comes with a removable back panel with a battery, dual-SIM card slots and a microSD card slot underneath. It also boasts two stereo speakers at the back, and like the recent Lenovo smartphones, comes with Dolby ATMOS support.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus specifications and features: The smartphone flaunts a 5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It also offers 16GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The Vibe K5 Plus also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 2,750mAh removable battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth.
Lenovo Vibe K5 specifications and features: This is essentially a more affordable variant of the Vibe K5 Plus. It features a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 415 octa-core processor.
On the software front, both smartphones run on Android Lollipop. Lenovo has also preloaded apps like SHAREit, SNAPit, and Guvera Music among others.
