Lenovo s Vibe Shot is a pure photography-centric smartphone, with a design that resembles a point-and-shoot camera. In addition to a dedicated shutter button on the right side, the handset also sports a metal strip at the back which holds a tricolor flash strip beside a round modular lens. It boasts a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, supplemented with an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
Lenovo Vibe Shot specifications
The Vibe Shot flaunts a 5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 441ppi, and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
The smartphone also features 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card, a 3,000mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, LTE support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. On the software front, it runs on Android Lollipop.
Judging by the specifications it would be interesting to see how Lenovo prices it, especially when compared to the Xiaomi Mi 4i. The camera proposition with Optical Image Stabilization could give the Vibe Shot an edge.
