Price is one of the most important factor one ponders over while buying a phone. Both the Lenovo X2 and Huawei Honor 6 were launched with Rs 19,999 price tag. In comparison, the Alcatel Onetouch Idol X+ is priced at Rs 16,999, and the Micromax Canvas Knight A350 at Rs 17,982.
When it comes to display, all the four devices fare equally. The Lenovo X2, Huawei Honor 6, Alcatel Onetouch Idol X+ and Micromax Canvas Knight A350 come with a 5-inch display with full HD (1920×1080 pixel) screen resolution.
Processor and RAM
Much like their screen, the four smartphones are powered by an octa-core processor. The Honor 6 is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 920 octa-core processor, while the OneTouch Idol X+ is powered by a 2GHz MediaTek MT6592 octa-core chipset. The Canvas Knight A350 is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor. Lenovo s Vibe X2 comes with a MediaTek s MT6595m True 8-Core processor.
As for RAM, the Honor 6 leads the way with 3GB of RAM, while the other three come with 2GB of RAM.
On the storage front, the Huawei Honor 6 comes with 32GB internal memory with an option to add more via microSD. The Vibe X2 and Canvas Knight A350 also have 32GB of internal storage, but they don t have a microSD card slot. The OneTouch Idol X+ offers only 16GB of internal space, without an option to expand it.
Both the Vibe X2 and Honor 6 offer 13-megapixel camera at the back, and a 5-megapixel snapper upfront. The Idol X+ features a 13.1-megapixel snapper at the back, but only a 2-megapixel camera at the front. The Micromax Canvas Knight A350 has a 16-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
On the battery front, Huawei takes the lead by packing a 3,100mAh battery. Lenovo Vibe X2 comes with a 2,300mAh battery, while OneTouch Idol+ offers 2,500mAh battery, and Canvas Knight A350 2,350mAh.
This leaves us to the software. The Lenovo Vibe X2, Honor 6 and Canvas 4 Plus run on the varied versions of Android KitKat. The Idol X+ on the other hand is still running on JellyBean.
