Lenovo has unveiled a new smartwatch, called the Watch S. The smartphone was launched alongside new smartphones like the Lenovo S5 Pro, Lenovo K5 Pro, and Lenovo K5s. During the press conference, Lenovo also announced that the total sales of the Lenovo Watch 9 and Watch X has exceeded 1 million units.
The Lenovo Watch S, like its predecessor, is not an electronic smartwatch. Instead, it is a basic mechanical watch that has some smart features. The front part of the watch is covered with sapphire glass, and it features a radius of 40mm, and thickness of 11mm. The body is made of 316L stainless steel. The Lenovo watch S is water resistant up to 5ATM (50 meters in water depth for 10 minutes) meaning it is now suitable for low-velocity and shallow-water activities, including swimming.
The dials of the watch are covered with luminous paint, which will allow users to see the time even in the dark. What makes this watch stand apart from other traditional mechanical watches is its smart features. The watch supports notifications alert that come from mobile devices, Find My Smartphone feature, and the ability to remotely take photos from a smartphone. Also, the watch can monitor the quality of sleep, calculate the distance traveled, transmitting information to the smartphone, and see the data through the Lenovo app.

The Lenovo Watch S price starts from $43 (Rs 3,000 approximately), and it is scheduled to go on sale later this month on October 30.
