The ZUK Edge has been a part of the rumor mills for quite some time now. Earlier rumors had hinted at a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge-like dual-curved display, but subsequent leaks have contradicted them. The ZUK Edge has already been spotted on TENAA and AnTuTu benchmarking website, which have revealed some of its key specifications and features. Recently, live images of the ZUK Edge had also surfaced online giving a full preview of what the smartphone could look like. Meanwhile, the rumors around the smartphone refuse to stop. Yet another live photo of ZUK Edge has surfaced online. The photo reveals only the front of the phone and shows a large display with very thin bezels. There is also a physical home button upfront which is highly likely to double up as the fingerprint scanner. A front camera lens can be spotted above the display, while the power button along with volume rocker are located on the right side of the smartphone.
Lenovo ZUK Edge specifications
The ZUK Edge is said to flaunt a 5.5-inch full HD display. At the heart, we can expect Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor clocked at 2.35GHz, and an Adreno 530 GPU. The smartphone will be paired with 4GB of RAM, along with 64GB of internal storage. Rumors further suggest that there won’t be an option to expand the memory storage.
On the photography front, the smartphone will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Up front, there will be an 8-megapixel selfie camera. On the software front, the smartphone could run Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It is expected to come with 3,000mAh battery and connectivity options such as Bluetooth, GPS, 4G LTE with VoLTE support and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. The smartphone will weigh around 160 grams and will be 7.68mm thick.
The ZUK Edge would be the fourth smartphone under the ZUK series after ZUK Z1, ZUK Z2 and ZUK Z2 Pro. Lenovo last launched the ZUK Z2 to India, but under the name Z2 Plus. There is however no word on whether the ZUK Edge will launch in India.
