Lenovo is all set to foray into the world of wearable devices with its long-rumored Smartband SW-B10. The smartband made several stops at the FCC and Bluetooth SIG websites earlier this year, and now it has found its place on the official Lenovo website as well. First spotted by Gizmobic, the Smartband SW-B10 looks like a bracelet and is a fitness tracker device that will track user’s steps, distance travelled, heart rate, amount of calories burned, and sleep cycle among other activities. In addition to fitness activities, it will also display your phone’s notifications – including incoming calls, text messages, appointment alerts, alarms and other reminders on your wrist. According to the listing on the website, Smartband SW-B10 is compatible with Android 4.3 and above, iOS 7.1 and above and PC running Windows 8 and above. The wearable also comes with a feature called SNS sharing, which will let users to auto-lock and unlock PCs without manually entering the password. The wearable will come in different color options. Two of which have been identified as orange and blue, with a possibility of more options to be added later. The listing doesn’t mention the launch date of the smartband, but we believe it wouldn’t be too long now.
