The LG Signature Edition comes in either white or black colour and has a zirconium ceramic back, which should be harder to scratch than the glass back on regular V30. The Signature Edition buyers can also get their name laser engraved on the smartphone and additionally get special after-sales customer service. There is also a premium package that includes special Bang&Olufsen earphones and Bluetooth headphones.

Aesthetics aside, we are looking at flagship specifications with 6-inch OLED FullVision display supporting a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It offers 6GB RAM and 256GB internal storage with support for expandable storage up to 2TB via SD card slot. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 835 chipset, also powering regular V30 smartphones.

On the camera front, it gets a combination of 16MP and 13MP rear camera setup with 16MP primary sensor supporting f/1.6 aperture while secondary 13MP sensor has f/1.9 aperture and 120-degree wide-angle lens. There is a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture and 90-degree wide field of view.

The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo with LG’s UX 6.0 on top and is integrated with a 3300mAh battery. The handset is IP68 water and dust resistant and supports a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC. It is also Google Daydream ready and supports LG Pay in South Korea. While the handset won’t make it to India, the company is launching V30+ with metal and glass design on December 13.
