Just last week, LG s Dimitar Valev let slip that they were developing a new Android tablet, though he didn t reveal any details. The tablet though has now come out in the open with LG revealing its name LG G Pad 8.3 in a teaser video and Korean website MovePlayer (spotted by Android Central) revealing how it looks via a leaked press render. The two minute teaser video shows LG asking people about what they think is an ideal tablet and in turn reveals that the tablet will flaunt an 8.3-inch full HD display, a thin design and will be able to connect to Smart TVs. Though, the tablet is not seen in the video, the leaked render shows the G Pad 8.3 alongside the LG G2 smartphone. The tablet uses similar design language to the G2, with the only difference being the more pronounced rounded edges on the tablet.
Though, there s no official word on when LG plans to unveil the tablet, it won t be wrong to expect it to use the stage at IFA next month to show off the tablet to the world.
