LG has brought the G Flex 2 to India, launching it at an event in New Delhi. The smartphone is priced at Rs 55,000, and will go on sale later this month. The LG G Flex 2 was introduced at CES earlier this year, and as the name suggests, its USP is the self-healing back. The company has made quite a few improvements and the back can now heal itself in just 10 seconds, as compared to three minutes on its predecessor. As far as specifications are concerned, the smartphone flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD Curved P-OLED (1920 1080 pixels) display, and is powered by a 2GHz Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor with 64-bit capability, paired with 2GB of RAM.
Also included are 16GB internal storage, microSD card support, and a 3,000mAh battery with Fast Charge feature, which enables the handset to be charged up to 50 percent in within 40 minutes.
On the photography front, the device features a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS+ and laser auto focus, which was first introduced on the LG G3, and a 2.1-megapixel shooter upfront.
Connectivity options include LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Smart Ready 4.1, NFC, and USB 2.0. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. As for color options, the smartphone will be available in Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red.
