Last month, LG unveiled the G3 and subsequently launched the flagship device in South Korea. Today, the company announced that it will start global rollout later this week starting with Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines. Other countries in Asia, Europe and the Middle East will get the smartphone sometime in July. Talking of the specifications, the LG G3 flaunts a 5.5-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixels) display with a pixel density of 538ppi and is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor with Adreno 330 GPU, and 3GB of RAM. Also included, is 32GB of internal storage, but there is no microSD card slot to expand the memory. LG also has a 16GB variant of the phone that features 2GB of RAM. The flagship device also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS+ and laser auto focus, 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, connectivity options like LTE support, 3G support, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/AGPS. On the software front, it runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat wrapped under LG s overhauled UI.
