LG India has got into the festive mood early and has announced a price slash for the LG G4 and the LG G4 Stylus. Effective immediately, the flagship smartphone is now available for Rs 40,000, while the mid-range LG G4 Stylus is priced at Rs 21,000. The LG G4 was launched back in June, priced at Rs 51,000. The company has now slashed the price of the leather back variant to Rs 45,000, while the ceramic white variant is now priced at Rs 40,000. The smartphone though is available for less online. Prices for the leather variant start at Rs 42,990, while the ceramic white variant is available for Rs 38,990. It boasts a slightly curved body, which is said to not only improve grip, but also makes it 20 percent more durable than a flat smartphone. As for specifications, it flaunts a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 1440 pixels) IPS display with Gorilla Glass 4, and is powered by a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 808 hexa-core paired with 3GB of RAM.
It also features 32GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 16-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus and OIS, 8-megapxiel front-facing camera, and a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, LTE Cat 6 support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, NFC, and IR blaster. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop wrapped under LG UX 4.0.
Last month, LG launched a mid-range phablet, called the G4 Stylus. Launched for Rs 24,990, the smartphone is now available for Rs 21,000. Similarly, this smartphone too is available for less online, priced at Rs 20,199.
This phablet flaunts a bigger display and comes bundled with LG s Rubberdium stylus. It flaunts a 5.7-inch HD IPS display, and is powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It also features 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 13-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a 3,000mAh battery.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a, b, g, n, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, and on the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
