LG G4 leaked photos have been making rounds since last few weeks, and we have a fair idea of what the forthcoming flagship could look like. But the company has made things official by revealing the official photos of the G4 on social media.
The photo above shows the direction LG is taking with its flagships. Instead of ultra-slim metal phones, the company has opted for a slightly curved body, with a Vegetable Tanned leather rear cover. The leather back cover is made up of two leather leafs held together by a seam that further adds a much needed dash of luxury.
The post says “Always have authentic in hand” and boasts the “Vegetable-tanned leather cover.” If however leather is not your thing, buyers will also be able to opt for the regular LG G4, which will come sans any leather.
Here’s a quick recap on the specifications of the LG G4. The forthcoming flagship features a 5.5-inch QHD display with 2560×1440 pixel resolution, and a Snapdragon 808 Hexa-core processor under the hood paired with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
The leak also confirms a 3,000mAh removable battery and a microSD slot, and it will also feature 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel secondary snapper, 32GB internal storage, and on the software front, it will run on Android Lollipop 5.1 wrapped under LG’s latest UX 4.0. As for dimensions, it is said to be just 8.9mm thick, and will measure 149.1×75.3 mm.
