LG is hosting an event in Barcelona today where it will be launching the LG G6 smartphone. While we have come across various leaks in the run up to the event, they have far from stopped. With barely few hours for the event, we have now come across official photos of LG G6 leaked by Qualcomm at MWC 2017. The photos give us a clear look at the phone, hence confirming some of the features already known. Also Read - Snapdragon 888 variants rumoured to come soon: Overclocked 4G-only and 5G versions

Qualcomm s tweet read The #LGG6 is a movie screen in the palm of your, thanks to Dolby Vision & #Snapdragon. Coming soon. The official images are in line with the leaked images we have come across so far. First things first, the LG G6 will come with a large display and small bezels. As seen in the images, the LG G6 will launch in three color options- black, silver and white. The smartphone come with a metal frame with a soft matte finish. However, rumors in the past suggested that the G6 will come with a shiny rear panel, which is expected to be made of glass. Apart from that the smartphone has skipped the home button on the front, just like its predecessor. The round-fingerprint scanner is placed at the rear along with the dual-camera setup, which look almost identical to the LG G5.

Additionally, LG has already revealed that the G6 will not have the modular functionality as spotted on the G5.The company has also hinted that the smartphone will come with some level of IP certification that makes it water and dust resistant.

Based on what we have come across so far, the LG G6 will flaunt a unique 5.7-inch QHD+ resolution display with almost non-existent bezels. The company recently teased its new user interface, which is optimized for the unique 18:9 display. Under the hood is expected to be Qualcomm s Snapdragon 821 chipset paired with 6GB RAM, and 64GB/128GB storage options.

In the photography department, the LG G6 will boast a dual-camera setup. The dual-rear camera will include a pair of 13-megapixel cameras with 125-degree field of view that LG says is similar to how an human eye sees things. The company has also teased a few camera modes, which include a 1:1 square mode for Instagram lovers, a Food mode, and a 360-degree mode.

Other specifications and features expected to be included are 12-megapixel selfie camera, 3,200mAh battery, fingerprint sensor, and 32-bit Quad DAC for superior audio performance.
