LG’s mobile division hasn’t seen profits in the last three quarters. With its last flagship smartphone, the G5, failing to take off, the company is though looking to make a strong comeback with its new LG G6 smartphone. One of the factors behind failure of the LG G5 is believed to be the steep pricing. Also, a shoddy implementation of the modular functionality prevented the smartphone to become a compelling enough proposition for customers in the premium segment. Seems, LG has learned its lessons and is now rumored to launch the next flagship smartphone at a lower price than the G5.
