Back in May, LG launched its flagship smartphone, the LG G7 ThinQ and G7+ ThinQ smartphones, and since then, it has been gradually rolling out the smartphone in other global markets. Now, the company has officially launched the G7+ ThinQ smartphone in India. and it will be available exclusively via Flipkart
Successor to last year’s G6, the LG G7 ThinQ comes with front and back glass design, covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and metal polished rims on the sides. The smartphone also comes with “MIL-STD 810G” rating designed by the United States military to use it in harsh environments, LG says.

The smartphone will set you back by Rs 39,990, and will be available starting August 10 on Flipkart. At this price point, it will be competing with the likes of Vivo NEX, Oppo Find X, OnePlus 6 and Asus Zenfone 5Z among others.

LG G7 ThinQ specifications, features
Smartphone flaunts a 6.1-inch FullVision Super Bright Display with QHD+ resolution (3120×1440 pixels), and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, which is expandable up to 2TB using a microSD card.
In the photography department, the smartphone is equipped with a dual-camera setup at the back. One is a 16-megapixel super wide-angle lens with f/1.9 aperture with field of view of 107 degrees, and a 16-megapixel standard angle lens with f/1.6 aperture with field of view of 71 degrees. For selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens up front.
The camera is AI enabled with scene recognition tech, and lets you take photos with bokeh mode. The AI Cam will be able to analyze subjects in a photo, and provide tips on how to improve the photo. There is also a “Super Bright Camera” mode, which kicks in when conditions are extremely dark and automatically increases the brightness of the photo, allowing you to capture good night photos with low-noise.
LG has also added face unlock feature, boombox speaker, and Hi-Fi Quad DAC for good audio experience. The smartphone runs on Android Oreo OS out of the box, and will be updated to Android P after it becomes available.
