Even as the image does appear to be an official render, and the publication attributes it to a reliable source, it is still not confirmed by LG and hence, it is advisable to take it with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, there are a number of features speculated to arrive on the LG G7 ThinQ which appear confirmed through these renders.
Based on the renders, the LG G7 ThinQ will certainly feature the notch on the front. The notch, popularized by the iPhone X, allows for an enhanced edge-to-edge display experience as the top bezel is reduced into a small cutout for crunching the sensors. What also appears confirmed is the presence of a dual-camera setup at the back along with a dedicated fingerprint sensor. The dual-camera setup is placed vertically. The physical buttons for volume and power appear on the sides, while a fourth button is also seen which appears to be the AI assistant trigger.
There has been a lot of debate on what exactly LG will name its next-in-line flagship smartphone. The renders reveal only the LG branding at the back of the phone, indicating that the company might ditch inscribing the ‘G7 ThinQ’ branding at the back.
