Late last year, LG refreshed its K-series of smartphone with the announcement of LG K3 (2017), LG K4 (2017), LG K8 (2017), and LG K10 (2017). And now, LG has sent out invites for an event in New Delhi on February 22. The invite comes with a big K written in the background clearly hinting at the launch of the series. Talking about the LG K3 (2017) first, the smartphone comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display. It runs Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 8GB of internal storage and supports microSD slot for additional storage. For photography, the smartphone comes with 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras. It is powered by a 2,100mAh battery (removable). On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
As for the LG K4 (2017), the smartphone is comparatively bigger with a 5-inch display, though it has the same FWVGA resolution as the LG K3. The LG K4 has the same amount of RAM, internal storage and runs on same Qualcomm 210 chipset as on the K3. For photography, the LG K4 has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Further, the LG K8 (2017) has a 5-inch display with HD resolution. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a Snapdragon 425 processor along with 1.5GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 16GB of internal storage and supports expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD. The smartphone has a 5-megapixel front camera and 13-megapixel rear camera. The smartphone is powered by a 2,500mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.2, microUSB 2.0 and NFC.
On the other hand, the LG K10 (2017) is the top-end smartphone out of all four, and comes with a 5.3-inch HD display. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone is available in 16GB and 32GB internal storage variants along with microSD support up to 2TB. For photography, the smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera along and 5-megapixel front camera. A 2,800mAh battery (removable) powers the smartphone. Connectivity options include LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, microUSB 2.0 and NFC. It is also worth pointing out that the smartphone comes with a fingerprint scanner.
