The folks at Android Police cite sources claiming that the LG Nexus (2015) smartphone will be placed at the sub-flagship level . In other words, the forthcoming smartphone will boast decent specifications, but not burn a hole in your pockets. In line with what we have come across before, the Nexus smartphone will flaunt a 5-inch 1080p display, and will be powered by Qualcomm s Snapdragon 808 processor paired with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB of RAM. Also on offer will be 16GB or 32GB internal storage.
The smartphone is also expected to feature a 12.3-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, USB Type-C connector, 2,700mAh battery, and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
While neither of the companies has announced anything, reports claim that LG could be unveiling its Nexus (2015) smartphone later this month on September 29. Huawei could also be unveiling its smartphone on the same date.
Speaking of which, Huawei s Nexus (2015) is expected to feature a 5.7-inch WQHD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 chipset, a 21-megapixel rear camera, USB Type-C port, fingerprint scanner and a battery with wireless charging capabilities.
