LG India has just launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the LG Q Stylus+ in the market. The company announced that this new device will go on sale starting September 5, 2018. The LG Q Stylus+ is priced at Rs 21,990 putting in the mid-range segment against the likes of the recently launched Poco F1, Nokia 7 Plus, Huawei Nova 3i, and the relatively older Moto X4. The device comes with a 6.2-inch FHD+ (2160x1080pixels) FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 389ppi display density, and curved tempered glass. The company claims that the display delivers incredibly bright and vivid colors. The device is powered by an Octa-core SoC that is clocked at 1.5GHz though LG has not clarified what SoC the device will pack. It will sport 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage along with the option of expandable storage where users can increase the storage of the device with the help of a microSD card of up to 2TB in capacity. Moving to the camera department, LG has opted for a single lens camera on the back with a 16-megapixel sensor with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) system and 8-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies. LG has also added advanced DTS:X with up to 7.1 channel 3D surround sound when the user is using earphones to provide an improved audio experience. The device also comes with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance along with MIL-STD 810G rating which is a US Military standard for the durability of a device.
In terms of connectivity options, the device will come with 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port on the bottom of the device. LG Q Stylus+ will be powered by a 3,300mAh battery while running on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box on the software end of things.
Staying true to its name, the device will also come with a Stylus so that users can take notes in their own handwriting. The Q Stylus+ will also come with intelligent palm rejection system and the device can also take down handwritten notes when the screen is off.
