While LG is yet to officially launch the Optimus Vu II in many parts of the world, its already going ahead and showing off new apps that it plans to add to its latest phablet. The company concluded a long and drawn out CES press conference that basically was loaded with multiple TV launches and home appliance news, but at the end it slipped a little nugget for us mobile tech hungry. Now, the main draw of this new app is that it allows users to create extra wide 3:1 memos. This app was born out of a thought process that focused on analogue note taking allowing users scribble freely on a large canvas. Users can write, draw or jot down notes and also allows for 5.8 times zooming. Also Read - LG OLED 2022 Smart TV series launched in India with prices starting at Rs 89,990

This is just the tip of the iceberg as LG has set-up an experimental zone at its CES booth that showcase some upcoming user experience features like Dual-Screen Dual Play which sounds very similar to the Pop-Up-play feature found on Samsung products.

As of now these features are being called experimental, while Samsung already has a few products that have these features running.

Additionally, for us Indians, LG has only recently released the Optimus Vu, so the Vu II could be some time away, so the Panorama Memo feature could be deemed redundant unless it comes to the original Optimus Vu.
